We are looking forward to performing for the Troy Mayors' Concert at one of our favorite venues, the Arbogast Performing Arts Center! MVSO associate conductor Patrick Reynolds shares the podium with guest conductors Dave Pinkerton, the current President of the Troy Mayors' Concert, Inc. Board, and Mike Beamish, Troy Mayor, retired. Soprano Jennifer Fair is our featured soloist.
This FREE 90-minute concert celebrates America's 250th Birthday and features your favorite patriotic tunes, symphonic suites from "The Magnificent Seven" and "Forrest Gump," and a few surprise opportunities for you to sing with the symphony! John Williams' "Hymn to the Fallen" honors America's military heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, and we recognize all of our veterans along with the Wright-Patt Honor Guard presenting colors during the "Armed Forces Salute."
No ticket is required. Venue doors open at 6:00 PM with entertainment in the lobby. Concert starts at 7:00 PM. Come out and celebrate together with your Miami Valley Symphony Orchestra!
